“THE INKA SECRETS”
Our tour starts at Riobamba, with our car we´ll head the first refuge of the Chimborazo’s protected area, located at 4800 mts (14763ft).We´ll hike to the second refuge (Whymper 5000mts) (16404ft), to enjoy a delicious “mate de coca” tea, which is good against “soroche” (mountain headache), and as a reward of our effort, our passports will be stamped with the Whymper´s hut stamp. In our descent, we´ll start our downhill biking adventure across hidden valleys towards the San Juan´s community. Our naturalist bilingual guide will explain you about interesting places during this exciting activity. You´ll discover the “Cuartel del Inca” (Inca´s barracks), the highest archeological ruin near the Chimborazo; the Chimborazo´s mineral water springs; some Andean communities and all of it joined with a wonderful view of the Chimborazo´s south face. Box lunch during the trip. Arriving to Riobamba
